At the Open Wine Cellars in Valais, we open our doors to all those who not only want to drink wine, but also experience it. From May 14 to 16, 2026, we invite you to taste our wines at Albert Mathier & Sons in Salgesch, discover new vintages and talk to our team.

Look forward to an enjoyable discovery tour through our world of wine – with a large selection of wines from the Valais and the typical Mathier spirit: passion, emotion and quality.

If you want to round off the day, combine the visit with a walk through the vineyards around Salgesch – or turn the occasion into a small excursion into Valais.

Highlight on Saturday, 16 May 2026 – Asparagus Delight:
Indulge in a spring-inspired 3-course menu featuring regional asparagus, the first Valais strawberries, and other seasonal specialties, perfectly paired with selected wines or juices. Served outdoors if the weather permits, otherwise in the wine cellar, this event offers a convivial and sensory springtime experience.

  • Date & Time: Saturday, 16 May 2026 | 12:00 – 15:00
  • Location: Albert Mathier & Sons AG, Salgesch
  • Price: CHF 60.– per person (same price for children, with juices instead of wine)
  • Included: 3-course menu with asparagus and strawberries, suitable wine pairing (1 dl per course) or non-alcoholic pairing (2 dl juice per course), as well as Salgesch water.
